The purpose of the Regional User Group (RUG) is to foster communication between users with similar experiences and challenges in their workplace. RUGs are self-directed teams of professionals from the same geographic area who meet regularly to exchange our most valuable commodity - information! We share experiences and best practices relating to the use of JD Edwards software.

Are you visiting the Collaborate user group conference in Denver this year? If so, come to a FREE 2-hour hands-on session to create BPEL processes that integrate with JD Edwards Enterprise One using Web Services (part of the QUEST hands-on experience at Collaborate 08).
We will show you how you can integrate in a modern SOA fashion. Oracle will provide laptops, network and servers for these free hands-on labs. Learn about the application technology roadmaps and certifications with Oracle Fusion Middleware. The sessions will include end-to-end demos, highlighting how multiple Oracle Fusion Middleware components integrate with and extend these packaged applications. SCUG Membership
12/8/2007 We welcome your interest in membership in our local user group for
JD Edwards Users and Business Partners. Invoices for the 2008 membership year will be sent in January.
Your dues entitle you to attend our quarterly meetings, which rotate locations among Orange, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties. Our meeting formats generally include Oracle updates, customer case-study testimonials, product demos by business partners, and most importantly – roundtable discussion groups. All this plus a catered continental breakfast and lunch and great door prizes!
Our dues structure is as follows:
CORPORATE MEMBER ------------------------- $ 300
Entitles the member company to send five participants to each meeting.
BUSINESS PARTNER MEMBER ----------------$ 500
Entitles the partner to have 3 attendees at each meeting.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBER ---------------------------$ 150

JDE User Group Announcements
10/5/2006 Hello Southern California User Group Members,
We would like to give you a report on our election of officers and inform you of some important upcoming events.
First, we are pleased to announce that we have a full slate of officers to move forward into 2007. A big thank you to all of you who participated in the nomination and balloting process. A list of the new officers is included below and is also on our website.
Next, we are planning a drop-in social get together on December 5, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Crown Plaza Hotel by LAX. Save the date and plan to attend. More details will be sent to you soon.
Finally, Oracle has a great event coming on Nov 8th in Anaheim just for JDE customers. It’s an interactive session providing an update on Oracle's Strategy for the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World platforms. This session will include an overview of recent developments in these products and an insight into Oracle's long term plans for the JDE platform. This session also includes Oracle's Acquisition Strategy, a process report on Fusion Applications, JD Edwards influence on Fusion and how Fusion will affect your current JD Edwards investment.
